Accelerated Aging Machine IPB 77-1 MM could be used for varieties screening of soybean (Glycine max L.) based on seed vigor related to storability with physical or chemical accelerated aging test. The aim of the research were to find out a simple, fast and accurate accelerated aging method by accelerated aging machine IPB 77-1 MM which is suitable for varieties screening of soybean based on seed vigor related to storability. Two methods of accelerated aging test (physical and chemical treatment) by accelerated aging machine IPB 77-1 MM, were applied to Anjasmoro soybean seeds varieties. The best accelerated aging method then was used to 23 soybean seeds varieties screening based on seed vigor related to storability. The seed vigor related to storability of 23 soybean seeds varieties which is detected by accelerated aging machine MPC IPB 77-1 MM were compared with seed vigor related to storability of 23 soybean seeds varieties which is stored 10 weeks in natural storage system.Result of the experiment showed that chemical and physical treatment of accelerated aging method in accelerated aging machine IPB 77-1 MM could decreased seed vigor, but the chemical treatment could decreased seed vigor more fast and chemical treatment was more practical and simple. Accelerated aging machine IPB 77-1 MM could be used for varieties screening of soybean based on seed vigor related to storability by using electrical conductivity test.
