      Abstract
      This paper describes the upper air characteristic using the RAOB program. The focus is in significant level of upper air vertical stability, the significant level describe by Level of Free Convective (LFC), Lifting Condensation Level (LCL) and Convective Condensation Level (CCL). This research was using sounding data from Soekarno-Hatta air port at December 2007 to November 2008. The upper air characteristic is very different in every few month because the implication of seasonal change in object area. The comparison between rainy season (December-January-February) and dry season (June-July-August) had shown the different pattern of upper air characteristic and diurnal variation. The different amount of wet air for this two group of months was describe using cross section from RAOB program application
