Sleep is an important activity undertaken by humans and spend nearly a third of the human life time. Sleep is a condition in which the brain does not process information from sensory neurons and does not give orders to the motor neurons. Sleep quality of person can be determined using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The data of this research were obtained by giving questionnaires contain personal data and questions about the components of sleep quality during the past month There are seven components of sleep quality, subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep duration, sleep efficiency, sleep disturbances, use of sleeping medication, and daytime dysfunction. The purpose of this study was to determine the sleep quality of employee of Bogor Agricultural University. Value of PSQI obtained from the calculation of the seven components, if someone has a value of PSQI < 5 then he has good sleep quality, and if someone has value of PSQI >5 then he has poor sleep quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the sleep quality of employee of Bogor Agricultural University. The proportion of male employee who had good quality sleep were equal to the proportion of female who had good quality sleep. As much as 48.27% of the total sample of employees have good sleep quality. As much as 62,5% of employees over the age of 51 years have poor sleep quality.
