Partisipasi dan Persepsi Masyarakat dalam Pengembangan Hutan Tanaman Pola Kemitraan PT Nityasa Idola, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the participation and community perception to partnership of forest plantation, as well as determine the relation between community’s participation and community’s perception on partnership of forest plantation. The research was conducted in concession area of HTI PT. Nityasa Idola Landak District, West Kalimantan Province. The respondents who were involved in this research as many as 31 respondents. They were interviewed by questionnare, and the result was analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analysis and presented in descriptive form. The results of this study showed that the community's participation in the partnership scheme of forest plantation development could be categorized as moderate level, while their perception could be categorized as high level. The relations between perception and participation was not real. It caused there are several variables that affect it include the land area partners, the age, and the livelihood.
