This study was carried out to evaluate the electrophysiological cardiac activity (ECG) of local sheep following tibia bones implantation using bone cement hydroxyapatite-chitosan and hydroxyapatite-tricalcium phosphate implant. Four lokal sheep (2 males and 2 females) aged between 1.5-2 years old and body weight of 19-20 kg were used in present experiment. The ECG examination was done in conscious with standing position. Some parameters were evaluated such as, amplitude and duration of P wave, QRS complex, PR interval and ST segment. The result showed that P wave amplitude and duration number were not significantly different (P>0.05) compared to normal sheep’s standard scores which mean both cement implants did not influence atrium activity. QRS complex amplitude and durations were significantly different (P<0.05) with normal sheep’s standard scores and resembled to both bone cement implants influence ventricle activity. PR interval and ST segment durations were significantly different with normal sheep’s standard scores. Overall, ventricle activity was disturbed post treated using bone cement implant. This disturbance is due to there was ischemic ventricular muscle.
