dc.description.abstractThe general objective of this study is to determine the correlation of food coping strategy application to the household energy consumptions level in the high level of densely population area. The specific objectives of this study are : (1) Identify the household characteristics (age, family size, education, occupation), (2) identify the level of household energy consumption, (3) identify the application of food coping strategy at the household; (4) Analyze the correlation of household characteristics to each food coping strategy (5) analyze the correlation of food coping strategy to household energy consumptions level. The research was conducted by using Cross Sectional Study design and it implemented in April to May 2012. Location of this research was some community group along the bank of river Ciliwung. The Sample consists of 100 households who live in the research area. More than a half of the samples were classified as small family category which the most of the parent age were classified as early adulthood (20-40 years). The education levels of the most fathers graduated from high school/equivalent, it is about 35.7 percent, while the educational level of the most mothers graduated from primary school/equivalent, it is about 41.8 percent. The majority of the head household income is often inconsistent and most of them work as self employed. Generally, most of household’s incomes are low. However, based on the statistic data of South Jakarta explains that most of household (77,0%) was classified as non-poor category.en
dc.description.abstractTujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kedalaman food coping strategy dengan tingkat konsumsi energi rumah tangga di daerah dengan tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang tinggi. Adapun tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) Mengidentifikasi karakteristik rumah tangga (umur, besar rumah tangga, pendidikan dan pekerjaan);(2) Mengidentifikasi tingkat konsumsi energi rumah tangga;(3) Mengidentifikasi food coping strategy yang dilakukan rumah tangga;(4) Menganalisis hubungan karakteristik rumah tangga dengan food coping strategy yang dilakukan rumah tangga; dan (5) Menganalisis hubungan food coping strategy dengan tingkat konsumsi energi rumah tangga di daerah padat penduduk. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional study. Penelitian dilakukan bulan April 2012 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2012. Lokasi penelitian meliputi sebagian jumlah Rukun Warga (RW) dan Rukun Tetangga (RT) sepanjang Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Ciliwung Jakrta Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kumpulan rumah tangga yang berada di daerah kumuh. Penarikan contoh dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik penarikan contoh acak berlapis (Stratified Random Sampling) dengan alokasi proporsional, di mana daerah kumuh dianggap sebagai strata dan rumah tangga sebagai unit sampling. Di setiap daerah kumuh, rumah tangga akan dipilih dengan cara Simple Random Sampling Without Replacement (SRSWOR). Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh menggunakan pendekatan ini berjumlah 100 rumah tangga.
