      Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the influence of avocado leaves n-hexane fraction on ureum and creatinine description of Sparague-Dawley rats, induced by ethylene glicol (EG) 0.75 % and ammonium choloride(AC) 2%. Twenty adult male rats were devided into four treatment groups. The first group was normal group (A) that had not been given any special treatment. Second group was treated EG/AC but not avocado leavesn-hexane fraction. In addition to EG/AC treatment, two groups of rats were also gavage-administratedn-hexane fraction of avocado leaves dose of 100 mg/ Kg BW (C) and n-hexane fraction of avocado leaves dose 300 mg/Kg BW(D). Rat blood serum was taken before and after treatment. The result of this study showed that on the ureum and creatinine parameters value were not differences among each group statistically (P>0.05), but ureum and creatinine on D group were higher compared with other groups. Body weight of rats on B, C and D groups was decreased, but body weight of rats on D group was more decreased than B and C groups. The results of this research could be concluded that n- heksan was not good fraction for alvocado leaves and n-hexane fraction of avocado leaves dose 300 mg/ Kg BW and 100 mg/ Kg BW could not decrease ureum and creatinine plasma value.
