      Abstract
The aim of this research was to know the effect of turmeric (Curcuma linga Linn.) etil asetat fraction ointment in wound healing of hiperglicemic mice (Mus musculus albinus). Thirty mice were infected with 40 mg/kgbw of streptozotocin to induced hiperglicemic. Mice were divided into three groups, which were negative control without treatment, positive control was treated with the comersil ointment and the group with the etil asetat turmeric rhizomes fraction ointment treatment. Mice were wounded by scalpel blade on the their dorsoanterior skin of mice around 1.5 cm. The pathology-anatomy of the wound healing procces were observed everyday with wound size, wound colour, wound exudation, and scab formation as the parameter. The histopathology lesion were observed on the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 14th, and 21th days after skin incision. The parameter on the histopathology observation are number of polymorfonuclear cell (neutrofil), macrophag, neovascullary formation, the precentation of wound reepitelization and the percentation of collagen connective tissue. The histopathology observation of etil asetat turmeric rhizomes fraction ointment had anti inflamantory activity as well as neovascularization and reepithelization were faster than the other groups.
