Abstract
The purpose of this study are to: (1) Knowing Prima Tani innovation decision-making by farmers and (2) Analyze the factors associated with Prima Tani innovation decision-making by farmers. This research is survey explanatory research using quantitative approaches, supported by qualitative data which took place within the Jatiwangi Village, Garut in February 2009. Data collection techniques are applied by researchers using a questionnaire and interview techniques. Respondents of this study is the farmer members and non-members of farmer groups. Total respondents is 44 persons using stratified random sampling technique. The data have been analyzed using descriptive analysis and Spearman rank correlation test. Most farmers in the Jatiwangi Village Prima Tani innovation decisions. Prima Tani innovation decision-making correlate by farmer perception of extension agent abilitys, farmer perception of extension agent roles, farmer activity in farmer group, compability, complexity, triability, and observability.
