Factors Related To Competence In Students Creativity Program (Scp). Case: Student In Department Of Food Science And Technology Entry Year 2008, Faculty Of Agricultural Technology, Bogor Agricultural University

Abstract
The purpose of this study are to analyze the relationship of individual characteristics with the creativity of students, analyze the social influence of peer relationships with the creativity of students and analyze the relationship between student creativity with competence to participate in Student Creativity Program (SCP). This research was conducted at the Bogor Agricultural University, Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology. Data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews using questionnaire which is distributed and completed by the respondent In this study, the result of the individual characteristics consist of gender, academic achievement, organizational experience and achievement motivation is not all of them correlated with creativity. Only variable of organizational experience and achievement motivation are significantly associated with the creativity. In the social environment of peer group, the intensity of interaction is not correlated with the creativity. But only the support in peer group has correlated significantly with the creativity. Besides that creativity significantly correlated with competence in the student creativity program through the attitudes and skills variable. Creativity has no linkage with variable of knowledge in competence to participating in the Student Creativity Program.
