      Abstract
      Grant Forest Park (TAHURA) Inten Dewata has riches of plants as many as 250 species. There are two districts surrounding the area of TAHURA Inten Dewata; Kota Kulon and Pasanggrahaan. Local people in those districts may have interaction with yhe area of TAHURA Inten Dewata, therefore a study of Stocktaking of plant Potential in TAHURA Inten Dewata is badly needed. Stocktaking of plant Potential in TAHURA Inten Dewata was done from May to July 2010. The methods used are field survey with the technique of analysis of vegetation and interviewing by using questionaires as well as herbarium techniques to identify plants. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical techniques including graphical and tabular data. According to the result of analysis vegetation and the interview with the society around the area of TAHURA Inten Dewata, it was found that there were 154 species of plants that belong to 59 families. The total result of plant species based on the analysis of vegetation, it was found that there were 132 species based on the analysis of vegetation belong to 54 families with details specified; 113 species belong to 51 families in Mount Palasari and 27 species belong to 26 families found in Mount Kunci. The society exploits or makes use of 83 species of plants that belong to 35 families in TAHURA Inten Dewata. Species of plants exploited in Mount Palasari are 81 species and 2 species in Mount Kunci. There are 14 groups of usage of plant species which is used to fulfill the daily need. The most usage of plants is for firewood, namely 25 species, whereas the less, 1 species, is for cosmetic. The biggest interaction with TAHURA Inten Dewata of local people is in Gunung Palasari as the access to this area is relatively easier than Gunung Kunci that is boundary with fort. The society around the area make use of plants in TAHURA Inten Dewata. The species that are made use of by local people in TAHURA Inten Dewata such as sugar palm (Arenga Pinnata), coconut (Cocos nucifera), teak (Tectona grandis), bamboo (Gigantochloa apus), and mahagoni (Swietenia mahagoni) that are used for daily need.
