      Abstract
INTRODUCTION. The problems of soil in tropical climate region are tend to be dominated by soil type that has low natural fertility and easily eroded by high sunlight intensity and precipitation, on of which is latosol soil. Latosol soil has a low natural fertility and fair chemical and physical attribute, because of that it is inappropriate to be used as plant media. To overcome this problem, bio-organic use is suggested. Bio-organic beside can activate soil microorganisms; it also can enhance root growth so that the use of bioorganic at the right concentration is hoped to fix the plant media condition and also directly increase the plant growth. MATERIALS AND METHOD. The research was conducted in IPB Faculty of Forestry Green House and Forestry Biotechnology Laboratory in December 2008- April 2009. The bioorganic product that was used was liquid-fermented with bioremedy solid-bio which was mixed with zeolit absorbent. The plant that was used was two-month aged seedling of Paraserianthes falcataria. The bioorganic treatment were B0 = Control/no bioorganic, B1 = (Liquid-Bio 1L + Zeolit 1kg) with 2gr concentrate, B2 = (Liquid-Bio 1L + Zeolit 1kg) with 5 gr concentrate, B13= (Liquid-Bio 1L + Zeolit 1kg) with 10 gr concentrate, B4 = (Liquid-Bio ½ L + Zeolit 1kg) with 2 gr concentrate, B5 = (Liquid-Bio ½ L + Zeolit 1kg) with 5 gr concentrate, B6 = (Liquid-Bio ½ L + Zeolit 1kg) with 10 gr concentrate, B7 = (Liquid-Bio ¼ L + Zeolit 1kg) with 2 gr concentrate, B8 = (Liquid-Bio ¼ L + Zeolit 1kg) with 5 gr concentrate, B7 = (Liquid-Bio ¼ L + Zeolit 1kg) with 10 gr concentrate, each treatment consisted of three repetitions whereas each repetiotion consisted of three units. The data were analyzed Complete Chaos design pattern with Minitab 14 and Costat. RESULT AND CONCLUSION. Based on various investigation testing results, bioorganic factor has no real effects on height growth, diameter, root nodules amount and total dry weight, but it has real effect on root tip ratio. Research shows that treatment B7 = (Liquid-Bio ¼ L + Zeolit 1kg) with 2 gr concentrate gives the best effect on root tip ratio with average value of 1.81. Bioorganic treatment gives no significant effects on the growth of P. falcataria due to unfavorable environment condition. P. falcataria is a pioneer, so it needs full sunlight during its growing process. Lack of sunlight and high moisture conditions cause its constant growth in every observation. Lack of sunlight and pest attack on the leaf tip due to moisture cause the photosynthesis doesn’t run at the optimum level that makes the seed growth becomes hampered. These unfavorable environment conditions are caused by the placement of seed under the shade.
