Pengelolaan Tanaman Tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.) di PG Madukismo PT Madubaru Yogyakarta dengan Aspek Khusus Manajemen Tebang Angkut Tebu.

Abstract

The objective of this internship is to increase technical and managerial skill. The internship was conducted from February 13th until May 13th 2012 at PG Madukismo PT Madubaru, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Observations made with the specific aspects of harvest and transportation management. Particular aspect observed was losses and the percentage of sugar cane trash. The results obtained from the observation is all the problems that occur during harvest and transportation can be managed by applying the good practises of harvest and transportation management. Harvest and transportation management is an activity in organizing and putting things relating harvest and transportation according to the standards. Losses in Bantul area larger than the area of Purworejo. Levels of impurities in PG Madukismo percentage is still below the tolerance limit corporate standards. A proper harvest system is consider terms of sugarcane milling capacity, the optimal maturity, state of the plant, area conditions, weather and climate, the number of worker and transport methods. Losses of sugarcane during harvest have effect on the productivity levels of sugar that produced.
