Numbers of 160 samples of Pangasius hypophthalmus were taken from 16 groups of fish (Pokdakan) in Minapolitan Area of Banjar District. Fish samples were taken selectively (which showed clinical symptoms of disease) or taken randomly if the symptoms of disease did not show. Bacterial isolates were made from organ of fish samples, and then were identified by the morphology, physiology and biochemistry test. Measurement of water quality parameters were also conducted directly in the respective pools/sampling sites. Eight types of pathogenic bacterial were found in Minapolitan Area of Banjar District with prevalence of 50.00%. The pathogenic bacterial were Plesiomonas shigelloides (26.88%), Aeromonas caviae (8.13%), Flavobacterium columnare (5.00%), Citrobacter freundii (3.13%), Corynebacterium sp (2.50%), Micrococcus sp (1.88%), Aeromonas hydrophilla (1.88%) and Pasteurella multocida (1.88%). Prevalence of pathogenic bacterial in West Martapura Subdistrict (52.5%) was higher than Martapura Subdistrict (42.5%). There were significant correlation between water turbidity and prevalence of pathogenic bacterial.
