Potensi Penggunaan Ketamin sebagai Alternatif Anastetikum pada Transportasi Ikan Patin
Abstract
The main objective of this study is determining the ketamine potent use as alternative anaestheticum on transportation of catfish. Catfishes were anaesthetized in this study was done by dipping. This study used design randomized complete consist of 6 groups treatment such as P0 negative control without dipping, while P1, P2, P3, P4, and P5 were dipped groups with a dose of ketamine respectively 10 ppm, 20 ppm, 30 ppm, 40 ppm, and 50 ppm. Every treatment was repeated 5 times. The result of this study showed that the fastest onset was P4 group, 26 minutes and the longest duration was P2, 139.12 minutes. The lowest level death was caused ketamine namely P2 groups, 0%. But, the onset of 5 groups treatment wasn’t real diffrence, so could be cloncluded that dose didn’t too influence onset and effective dose for transportation was 20 ppm
