      Abstract
Changes in the feed management can contribute to the change of behaviour that will impact on the productivity of livestock. The aim of this research was to study sheep behaviour as a result of giving bean sprouts waste pellet and Indigofera sp. pellet in the ration. This research used 6 garut lambs of 3 month old. There were two types experimental rations: (1) 30% of Indigofera sp.+70% concentrate and (2) 30% of bean sprout waste+70% concentrate. Parameter measured were sheep daily behaviour and eating behaviour. The data were recorded by a one zero sampling method and analyzed by Chi-square test. Data temperature and humidity obtained during the research were analyzed by Analysis of Varian (ANOVA). The result of temperature in the noon was significant higher than in the morning and afternoon, humidity in the morning was significant higher than in the noon and afternoon. Results showed that the daily behaviour exhibited by sheep with two types of ration (bean sprout waste and Indigofera sp.) were not significant. The activity of feed checking behaviour was significant, where the provision of Indigofera sp. pellet had greater frequency than bean sprout waste pellet, but did not cause stress to livestock. It is concluded that the two type of rations can be recommended to use in local sheep farm
