      Abstract
The aim of this study was to analyze daily and ingestive behaviour of male local rabbit in different cage floor. Total rabbits used in this study were 15 heads (average body weight was 824±74,43 g) that were allocated into 3 treatments (bamboo, husk mats and wire cagefloor). The data of daily behaviours including ingestive (eating and drinking), locomotion, elimination, grooming, stereotype and resting behaviors were collected during 57 days. The data were analyzed with non parametric Kruskal- Wallis analysis. The results showed that effect of different cage floors was not significantly different on the rabbit daily behaviours. The observations also showed that rabbit that were kept in bamboo cage floor showed that drinking behaviours was significantly higher around noon than in the morning or late afternoon and the behaviours of locomotions in the morning was higher than around noon and late afternoon. In wire cage floor, resting behaviour during the day was significantly higher than in the morning or late afternoon. However, between the three cage types were similar the eating patterns behaviours observed, smelling, biting, chewing and swallowing. It can be concluded that the use of bamboo cage floor types, husks and wire can be used for raising local rabbits by considering the availability of the cage floor materials.
