The Economic Analysis of Sustainable Natural Tourism Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Gunung Meja Manokwari West Papua

Abstract

Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Gunung Meja is one of the developing tourist and conservations which is in Manokwari and it has the potency to develope to become the natural tourism area. Now the existance of TWA Gunung Meja is in the crisis condition caused by the society interaction in the area, such as the farming, cutting down the wood, top Soil and rocks, the garbage throw and there is no public fasility and supporting facilities. In the developing of economy analysis can be concluded that TWA Gunung Meja offers the aestetic, various flora and Fauna, Natural Cave, and historical sites.The destiny of tourist to TWA Gunung Meja is to entertain of natural panorama, hiking, caving, researching on flora and Fauna and the visit to the historical sites. The economic value of natural tourism TWA Gunung Meja is IDR 592.154.197 annualy and the value of natural tourism development TWA Gunung Meja is IDR 217.940.375. From social analysis, the society from TWA Gunung Meja is very conducive in supporting and ready to participate by paying to the development program on natural tourism in TWA Gunung Meja. While in the Environment analisys, the maximum amount of tourists who can visit to TWA Gunung Meja without changing the physical condition or to decrease the quality of the environment is 58.092 tourist per visit and maximum capacity for the tourist perday 174.211 persons.
