Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is one of organizational communication form, CSR usually devoted for the community. Through this organizational communication corporate expects can be able to build a good relationship with community. The objectives of this research were: (1) to describe the form of organizational communication. (2) To describe the level of community participation, level of community perception, and level of community empowerment in the implementation of CSR activities. (3) to analyze correlation between individual characteristics and assessement of organizational communication activities and the level of community participation in the implementation of CSR activities. (4) to analyze correlation between assessment of organizational communication activities and level of community participation in the implementation of CSR activities. (5) to analyze correlation between level of community participation and the effectiveness of CSR activities. (6) to analyze correlation between level of community perception and level of community empowerment in the implementation of CSR activities. This research covered two kinds of data analysis i.e. descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. This research resulted several outputs, namely: (1) Organizational communication implemented by PERTAMINA was in accordance with the PENCILS mix principle; (2) level of community participation in the stage of planning and implementing were categorized good, level of community perception towards economic sector and environmental management were categorized good, level of community empowerment in economic sector and environmental management were categorized good. (3) Overall individual characteristics showed a real-positive correlation with assessment of organizational communication activities, Individual characteristics also showed a real-positive correlation with level of community participation. (4) Overall assessment of organizational communication activities showed a real-positive correlation with level of community participation. (5) Overall Level of community participation showed a real-positive correlation with the effectiveness of CSR program. (6) Overall level of community perception showed a real-positive correlation with level of community empowerment
