Bentuk dan Tingkat Partisipasi Stakeholders dalam Pengelolaan Cagar Biosfer Giam Siak Kecil-Bukit Batu (CB-GSK-BB), Provinsi Riau.

Abstract

Giam Siak Kecil-Bukit Batu Biosphere Reserve (GSK-BB-BR) represents the tropical peat swamp forest Sumatera region that located in Bengkalis and Siak Regencies, Province of Riau. Giam Siak Kecil Bukit Batu Biosphere Reserve (GSK-BB-BR) was initiated by private sector, Sinarmas Forestry and supported by The Hall of Natural Resources Conservation (BBKSDA) Riau, Government of Riau Province and Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). Proposed Management Plan GSK-BB-BR 2009-2013 intended to give information based on the principle of multistakeholders management or collaborative management. Stakeholders participation is determiner components in collaborative management. The aims of this research were identification and analysis of the stakeholders interest and power in the management of GSK-BB-BR, classification of the stakeholders in the management of GSK-BB BR and identification of the stakeholders model and participation level in the management of GSK-BB-BR. The research was conducted in GSK-BB-BR, Province of Riau on July until September 2011. Materials were collected by indepth interview to key informan from stakeholders, selected by purposive sampling that considered their role in the management GSK-BB-BR and their knowledge about the research topic. Generally the interest of stakeholders are synergy with the function of ecosystems and the aim of the management in GSK-BB-BR. The results of identification are 31 stakeholders of GSK-BB-BR. Most of stakeholders are participate at level of partnership except the local community, still at level of information.
