Perbedaan Morfometrik Permukaan Tubuh Ayam Kampung Ciamis, Tegal dan Blitar Berdasarkan Variabel Pembeda Permukaan Linear Tubuh

Abstract

Kampong chicken is the dual purpose of native fowl which used for dual purposes (broiler and layer types). The differentiation of Kampong chicken linear body size calculated with discriminat function analysis, Wald-Anderson and minimum distance D2-Mahalanobis. The location which used for research were Ciamis, Tegal and Blitar. The variables which measured were femur length, tibia length, shank length, shank circumference, wing length, maxilla length and third finger length. T2-Hotelling test show that there were the differentiation of Kampong chicken linear body size on each location. The distinguishing variables between cock of Ciamis and Blitar Kampong chicken were shank length and third finger length; whereas between cock of Tegal and Blitar Kampong chicken was shank length. The distinguishing variables between hen of Ciamis and Tegal Kampong chicken were shank circumference and wing length; between hen of Ciamis and Blitar Kampong chicken was third finger length; and between hen of Tegal and Blitar Kampong chicken were shank lenght and third finger length. Correction factor based on Wald-Anderson criteria between cock of Ciamis and Blitar Kampong chicken was 77,11% dan 77,59% between cock of Tegal and Blitar Kampong chicken. Correction factor between between hen of Ciamis and Tegal Kampong chicken was 71,03%; 66,91% between hen of Ciamis and Blitar Kampong chicken; and 71,01% between hen of Tegal and Blitar Kampong chicken. Minimum distance D2-Mahalanobis between cock of Ciamis and Blitar Kampong chicken was 1,699 and 1,513 between cock of Ciamis and Blitar Kampong chicken. Minimum distance D2-Mahalanobis between hen of Ciamis and Tegal Kampong chicken was 1,072; hen of Ciamis and Blitar Kampong chicken was 1,006; and between hen of Tegal and Blitar Kampong chicken was 1,061
