      Abstract
      ANSWERS (Areal Nonpoint Sources Watershed Environment Of Response Simulation) is one of the hydrological models that be able to simulate a relationship between rainfall and run of, beside predicting sediment yield. ANSWERS was chosen in this study due to the model is able to figure the watershed condition in spatial form as well as capable to detect erosion sources within watershed. The aim of this study was to evaluate the application of ANSWERS model in predicting run off and sediment in the Jengkelok Watershed, Brebes, Central Java Province.
       
      Salah satu model hidrologi yang dapat mensimulasikan hubungan hujan-limpasan dan juga memberikan dugaan hasil sedimen adalah model ANSWERS (Areal Nonpoint Source Watershed Environment Respons Simulation). Pemilihan model ANSWERS pada penelitian ini didasarkan atas kemampuannya menampilkan kondisi DAS dalam bentuk spasial serta dapat mendeteksi sumber-sumber erosi di dalam DAS. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji penerapan model ANSWERS dalam memprediksi aliran permukaan dan sedimen yang diterapkan di Sub DAS Jengkelok, Brebes Propinsi Jawa Tengah.
