Prakiraan Dampak Pemindahan Lokasi Pelabuhan Perikanan terhadap Aktivitas Nelayan dan Pedagang Ikan (Studi Kasus: PPI Pangandaran Kabupaten Ciamis)

Abstract

Fish landing base (PPI) Pangandaran is one of productive PPI in Ciamis Region. Fish landing base was originally located on the eastern shore of Pangandaran, but subsequently moved to Village Babakan Pangandaran. The transference of the PPI Pangandaran to the village of signing intended to reorganize Pangandaran of tourism in the region. According to the local government, the act of fisherman who tether the boat on the west coast, the east coast pangandaran and preserve nature pananjung can disrupt the activities of tourism and conservation in the area. Fishermen and fish traders alleged to constitute the most widely accepted impact of removal of PPI. This research was conducted to find out the actual conditions, the impact of the transfer of the PPI Pangandaran to the fishermen and fish traders activity and know the strategy of developing PPI Pangandaran. Research methods used are case studies with descriptive data and SWOT analysis. A descriptive analysis of the results shows that the forecast impact of removal of PPI Pangandaran fishermen and merchants against fish is an increase in costs that must be incurred by fishermen and fish merchants as a result away a new location, it is next to the impact reduced income. The new location of PPI away cause PPI and a long time to return home to be incremented. The SWOT analysis results showed that development of the PPI should do in Pangandaran, West Java's old location.
