      Abstract
      The objectives of the study was to analyze the Positive Deviance of stunting problems among under-five children in poor family. Design of this research was retrospective study, with 140 samples of under five children aged between 24 and 59 months from poor family in Bogor. Family socio-economic characteristics, maternal characteristics, children characteristics, maternal knowledge of nutrition and health, feeding and health patterns, pregnancy history, birth children history, breastfeeding (consumption of milk) history, children health history, and consumption patterns of children, were the factors analyzed in this study. Data were collected directly through interviews using a questionnaires, then analyzed using chi square and logistic regression. The results showed that factors significantly influence the nutritional status of under-five children in poor family based on the index TB/U are maternal education (OR = 0.236; 95%CI: 0.057–0.973), children health history (OR = 0.328; 95%CI: 0.129–0.835) and maternal employment status (OR= 3.161; 95%CI: 1.087–9.194). In other hands, the logistics regression analysis showed that pregnancy history (OR= 0.385; 95%CI: 0.169-0.879) and environmental sanitation practices (OR= 0.491; 95%CI: 0.243-0.990) were significantly influence of positive deviance. The good habits were significantly owned by group of normal children, among others: mothers who have never experienced a miscarriage, do not consume herbal medicine during pregnancy and regular pregnancy checkups. The house is always cleaned every day before the child is playing, there is the distance between the family house with neighbors, attention to cleanliness of the family toilet after being used.
