      Abstract
Rumpon (Fish Aggregating Devices/FADs)-based fishing has begun to be expanded by fishermen at the Palabuhanratu, especially at the Gulf Palabuhanratu since 2004. One of the fishing tools that used on FADs is trolling lines, known as FADs fishing by fisherman communities at PPN Palabuhanratu. And the fishing supplies have had important role in supporting fishing activities. So the objective of the research was to determine the scale of the type, cost, mapping, and development strategies of supply/distribution of fishing supplies on FADs fishing at PPN Palabuhanratu. The method used was descriptive method with case studies. Type and cost of fishing supplies on FADs fishing per trip at PPN Palabuhanratu is 500 liters diesel fuel at a cost of IDR 2.274.000; 54 ice blocks at a cost of IDR 837.000; 442 liters clean water at a cost of IDR 17.800; and food stuff at a cost of IDR 880.000. Fishermen that use FADs obtain fishing supplies from inner and outer port which have varying distance from FADs fishing boat concentration : diesel fuel obtained from SPBB (is about 430 m), SPDN (is about 40 m), and SPBU (is about 200 m); ice blocks obtained from PT. Tirta Jaya (is about 2,43 miles) and PT. Sari Petojo (from the north is about 43,26 miles and from the south is about 42,66 miles); clean water is sourced from PDAM, maintained by CV. Eko Mulyo which is about 55 m; whereas food stuff obtained from market which is about 175 m. There are few challenges and threats in the development supply/distribution of FADs fishing supplies. The strategy that can be done by the suppliers/distributors of fishing supplies and PPN Palabuhanratu administrator is increasing the fishing supplies facility for FADs fishing at PPN Palabuhanratu.
