Produktivitas Armada Penangkapan Pancing di Sekitar Rumpon, Palabuhanratu Jawa Barat

Abstract

Fishing line with rumpon is the most widely used by fishermen in Palabuhanratu water’s, Sukabumi. This research aims to estimated productivity of fishing line with rumpon in different season, to figure out fishing ground, and total catch of training vessel PSP 01 operated in PPN Palabuhanratu water’s. Surveys method was used in the research and collected the primer and secondary data. The analysis of catch per unit effort (CPUE) was estimated to determine the position of fishing ground of tuna. Result of the research showed that off season during December to February, normal season in March until May, October until November, and peak season from June to September. The productivity of fishing line was increased from off season to peak season. The average CPUE from 2007 to 2011 comprises of 419,88 kg/trip (off season), 582,07 kg/trip (normal season I), 734,47 kg/trip (normal season II), and 818,90 kg/trip (peak season) respectively. The fishing ground of training vessel PSP 01 is located at the southern water’s of Palabuhanratu (07035’188 – 07059’874 South dan 106018’096 – 106025’112 East).
