Pengaruh Perbedaan Atraktor Pada Korang Terhadap Hasil Tangkapan Juvenil Lobster di Desa Sangrawayang, Palabuhanratu.

Abstract

This research has been done in Palabuhanratu Bay, Indonesia. Juvenile lobster (Panulirus sp.) is the main target fish in this research. This research was used Fish Aggregating Devices with two different types of attractor. This research was aimed to compared catches juvenile lobster from Fish Aggregating Devices by used different types of attractor, analyzed the effect of the attractor until getting the information about effectiveness kind of attractor. Attractor which used for comparison were seaweed and palm leaf as a test and a seaweed as a control. Korang is passive equipment was used to contain a fish or juvenile lobster and a tool that used to put a attractor. The result of comparition show that a total of catches with seaweed and palm leaf more than seaweed. This would be seen from succeed rank of catched a juvenile lobster in seaweed and palm leaf that value is 71,88 %. Furthermore, the result of statistic analyze with non parametric methode (Mann-Whitney) proved that is a effect of differences between seaweed and palm leaf and only seaweed because a mean rank of seaweed and palm leaf are higher than only seaweed. From the result concluded that seaweed and palm leaf more effective than seaweed.
