      Abstract
      Pencemaran logam berat pada sistem tanah merupakan salah satu masalah lingkungan serius, namun perhatian terhadap hal ini di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi tingkat kontaminasi/pencemaran logam berat Cd, Cu, Pb dan Zn pada empat tipe penggunaan lahan di Sub-DAS Cileungsi Tengah, Kabupaten Bogor serta mengevaluasi pengaruh faktor alamiah (pH, kadar liat dan bahan organik) serta faktor antropogenik (jarak lurus terdekat dari titik pengambilan contoh tanah ke alur sungai, jalan raya, jalan tol dan zona industri) terhadap kadar total logam berat tersebut.
       
      Heavy metals pollution in soil system has been considered as a serious environmental problem, however less awareness has been given on this problem in Indonesia. This study was aimed at to explore heavy metals Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn contamination/pollution level in four land-use types of the middlestream Cileungsi sub-watershed, Bogor district and to evaluate the effects of the geogenic (pH, clay and organic matter content) and anthropogenic (straight nearest-distance from soil sampling points to the river channel, toll road, main road and industrial zone) factors on the total soil content of the metals.
