      Abstract
The research was aimed to examine the effect of water extracted of Coscinium fenestratum root to parasitemia and leukocyte profile in mice infected with Plasmodium berghei. This research used five groups of mice with five mices in each group. The groups consist of 1) Negative Control (given Pulvis Gum Arabic), 2) Positive Control (given qloroquine), 3) A1 (given extract with doses of 12.5 mg/kg BB), 4) A2 (given extract with doses of 25 mg/kg BB), 5) A3 (given extract with doses of 48 mg/kg BB). The blood was collected from tail and blood smear was made everyday after treatment until 7 day after infection. The result showed that neutrophil from all treatment groups were significantly (p>0.05) lower compared to Negative Control. Eosinophil percentage in all treatment was higher than Negative Control on day 7th after infection. The percentage of monocyte in each treatment groups was increased significantly from Negative Control on different day. Lymphocyte percentage of all treatment day one until day 7th was higher than Negative Control. Basophil percentage in all treatment was increased higher than KNNegative Control on the 7th day.
