      Abstract
The aim of this research is to study the effect of pyraclostrobin application on Growth, production and amylase content of maize. The research was done in KP. Cikabayan, University Farm, Bogor Agriculture Institute, on June to October 2011. The varieties used were N35 (V1), P21 (V2), Bisi 222 (V3) and Lamuru (V4). Dose of pyraclostrobin used were 0 ml/ha (P0) and 400 ml/ha (P1). The design of this research used Randomized Complete Design Group with three replication. Data analysis using F-test and it was then followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test at error level of 5 %. Statistically, the application of pyraclostrobin didn’t show significant effect on the growth and yield of maize. In several, application of pyraclostrobin (P1) showed yield higher than without pyraclostrobin (P0). The Varietas showed a significant effect on the growth, yield and amylose content of maize. The research showed for increased production, N35 respon better to the application of pyraclostrobin 400 ml ha-1. The aplication pyraclostrobin of 400 ml ha-1 tended to increase the content of amylose in Bisi 222 and Lamuru.
