For improving production sustainability and maintaining land ecosystem with principle of LEK, the community of Lubuk Baka hamlet practiced land management technique which was adjusted with the timing arrangement of their agriculture / farming practice. Similarity of LEK with its practice was due to direct and continuous contact with communities from various ethnic groups (Javanese, Sundanese, and Semendo), whereas the difference was affected by background of community culture of each ethnic group, land conflict, and farming activities being conducted. Several differences between LEK and its practice, namely soil tillage, drainage system, fertilizer application, and weeding, affected the annual average production level of crop of each ethnic group, so that this phenomena affected income level.
