      Abstract
This study was aimed to evaluate a blood chemistry profiles especially glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, SGPT, SGOT, serum urea, and creatinin of long-tailed monkey (Macaca fascicularis) in acclimation condition. Four years old of ten Macaca fascicularis was used in this study. Macaca fascicularis were placed in two rooms which were contained five monkeys with individual cage. This research divided into three stages: adaptation stage for seven days (without temperature and humidity setting), acclimation stage for 14 days (with temperature setting at 25°C temperature and 78% rel. humidity), and postacclimation stage for 14 days (without temperature and humidity setting). Blood collection was done at the 7th day (adaptation stage); 8th, 11th, 14th, and 21st day (acclimation stage); and 35th day (post-acclimation stage). The results showed that adaptation and post-acclimation stage, the animal model showed signs of stress. Stress in the adaptation stage was indicated by the decreasing in blood glucose, while the stress in the post-acclimation stage was indicated by decreased levels of triglycerides. It could be supposed that temperatur conditions of acclimation stage (25.79 ± 1.16)°C dan (80.19 ± 9.05)% relative humidity is more comfortable for Macaca fascicularis.
