Penerapan Standar Operasional Produksi Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan, Produksi Dan Kualitas Pisang Tanduk (Musa Sp., Aab Group)
Abstract
The objective of this research was to determinate effect using cultivation technique in growth, yield, and quality of ‘Pisang Tanduk’. This research was conducted on May 2010 until October 2011 in Kopo, Cisarua Bogor. Quality observation was conducted at Postharvest Laboratory Departement of Agronomy and Horticulture, FAPERTA IPB. Treatment tested were traditional cultivation technique, production operational standard of banana monoculture and production operational standard of banana intercropping. Banana production operational standards that used were a modification of the production operational standard of ‘Rajabulu’ Banana (PKBT, 2007). The results showed that cultivation techniques is significantly affected in growth and production of banana. Implementation production operational standard of banana can increased optimum growing. An examination of bunch weight, hands weight and fruit weight found that they generally greatest in implementation production operational standard of banana. Cultivation techniques also significantly affected on the fruit length and diameter of banana. Chemical quality is not significantly affected by cultivation techniques except for total soluble solids. Cultivation vegetable within banana planting is one alternative to increase revenue to farmer with R/C ratio 2.00. Vegetable planting did not affect banana growth and yield.
