Data was collected through interviews using questionnaires and examinations Anemic was assesed using Kato Katz method, while worm investation status and malaria status analysed using Giemsa method. Data were analysed using bivariate and multivariate linear regression. Prevalence of anemia was found 43,3% and risk factors of anemia among pregnant women were maternal age (OR=5.35, 95%CI=1.95-14.66), gestational age (OR=7.34, 95%CI=3:30-16:33), birth spacing (OR=2.39, 95%CI=1.17-4.88), frequency of visits to health care (OR=4.32, 95%CI=2.39-7.81), compliance of taking iron tablets (OR =14.82, 95%CI=5.28-41.65), family role (OR=5.14, 95%CI=2.71-9.78), eating habits (OR=2.53, 95%CI=1.96-3.26), worm investation (OR= 5.54, 95% CI=2.37-12.98).
