      Abstract
Interventions have been done to reduce DHF (Dengue Haemoragic Fever) incidence, such known as 3 M plus (to dry, to close, and to bury water container) and fogging. Those effort need knowledge of the mosquitoes as the vector of DHF such as density and behavior of mosquitoes. This study was conducted to know population density and behavior of Aedes at indoor and outdoor. The data were gathered by mosquitoes resting and landing collection method. Observation was done in Babakan Village, Bogor Regency at February until July 2010. The highest outdoor man biting rate showed by Ae. albopictus (0,3 females per man hour). At indoor, Ae. aegypti had both of highest man biting rate and resting activity rate (0.34 females per man hour). While from resting collection method, Ae. albopictus was not showed resting activity at indoor or outdoor.
