      Abstract
      Pramuka Island is the center of government administration and Administrative District Thousand Islands, has the potential of capture fisheries and tourism are considerable. Fishing activities and tourism activities in the Scout Island had been running alone, even tourism activity tends to suppress the activity of fishing. The study aimed to assess the potential of capture fisheries in the Scout Island, demanders maritime tourism in the Scout Island and nautical tourism development strategy based on the potential of capture fisheries on Scout Island. Approach using the SWOT method and travel expenses, are used to analyze the utilization of fisheries for the development of nautical tourism on the island of Scouting. The analysis showed the number of tourists make the consumer surpus value obtained is Rp 50,055,848.6 and. Total Economic Value (NET) obtained is Rp 1,345,481,190,178.93. This shows the high demand for marine tourism. The results of SWOT analysis shows for the development of nautical tourism on the Island Scout must execute an aggressive strategy to exploit the potential of capture fisheries on Scout Island.
