Manajemen pemupukan pada tanaman kelapa sawit (Eaeis guineensis jacq.) di kebun buatan, PT Inti Indosawit Subur, Pelalawan, Riau

Abstract

The apprenticeship was conducted at oil palm plantation of PT Inti Indosawit Subur,Pelalawan, Riau. This internship activity was conducted from March 1st to July 1st 2011. The internship was aimed to increase knowledge on the cultivation of oil palm both technical and managerial, particularity on the management of oil palm fertilization. The study was focused on, analyzis the factors that affect the efficiency and effectiveness of fertilization on palm oil production. Data was collected from primary and secondary source. Primary data were analized on the efficiency (time, and labor), and effectiveness (the right time, right dose, right type, and the right method. PT Inti Subur Indosawit, generally has been practicing an efficient and effective fertilization management, by considering the principle of 4 R (right kind, right dosage, right time , and right method) of fertilization.
