Tapioca industry is one industry that potentially polluted the environment, especially the increase of global warming that requires improvement efforts, improvements made efforts expected to improve process efficiency while lowering operational costs. The purpose of this study is to get the tapioca processing stage for potential application of clean production of tapioca factory based on the use of water, energy, and characteristics of waste generated; produce alternative production process improvement and management of industrial waste tapioca that can increase efficiency and reduce the risk of pollution to the environment based on analysis and evaluation of economic benefits and environmental values; produce a process model of environmentally friendly industrial production of tapioca-based cleaner production.
