As many as 104 DOC were used in the study. The chickens were divided into two groups, each group consist of 52 DOC. At the first day ten DOC of each group were bleed to collect serum sample. The first group was vaccinated with IBD Blend vaccine Strain Winterfield 2512 throught eye drop at the first day. The second group was unvaccinated server as a control. Serum were collect on day 1st, day 14th, day 28th, and day 42nd. Ten DOC from each group were challenge by IBDV field isolate at day 28th. All samples analyze by indirect ELISA test. The result showed that all the DOC were carried out maternal antibody with protective level i.e 3585 Elisa Unit (EU). The antibody titer of vaccinated group at day 14th increase significantly difference (P<0.05) i.e 4808 EU compare to unvaccinated group i.e 3024 EU, but at day 28th the antibody titer between each group were no significantly difference (P>0.05). After challenge all the vaccinated chickens appear clinical sign and damage of bursa Fabricius while unvaccinated group only showed 80% bursal damage. The result showed that vaccination IBD Blend Strain Winterfield 2512 at the first day was unable to protect the chickens from clinical sign caused by IBD virus infection.
