Laju nitrifikasi pada lahan sawah tadah hujan dan pekarangan di Latosol Darmaga

Abstract

Nitrification is an important process in the nitrogen cycling in soil. It is oxidation of NH4+ to NO3- by a group of a soil microb. The N03- form is subject to losses through denitrification, transport by run off, soil erosion or leaching to groundwater. The information of nitrification is limited in Tropic. The objective of this research was to determine the nitrification rate in different landuse, so efforts of increasing efficiency N can be done correctly.
