      Abstract
      The puiyose of this research was to describe about health condition and care management of Bogor traditional horse camage. The research was done since October 2007 to September 2008 with 30 cabmen as respondent and 12 horses as sample. The data was collected by interviewing cabman and examines the horses. This research showed that nutrition status of the horses was present at value 4 (moderately thin). Skin and coat condition of the horses seen clean, though basically their condition are harsh, not sparkling and there are lots of wounds on horses body. The horse heart rate was range 36 to 56 times per minute. Horse breathe frequency was range 24 to 54 times per minute, while range of body temperature was 37.1 C to 38.1 C. Horse genitals are dirty. Intestine horses peristaltic in general are normal but some horses got hipoperistaltic problem. Horse food cannot fulfill horse nutrition. Stable conditions are endangering the horse. Surface environmental floor are not good for horse hooves. Hoof treatments are not yet done well. Horse health service not involved role veterinarian. Based on the research, we conclude that almost every horse have problem at nutrition and wounds on their body, some horses have problem on inhalation system, circulatory system and dehydration. The care management is still unfavorable and still done traditionally.
