Penampilan reproduksi kambing jawarandu (Studi kasus di PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa, Propinsi Lampung)

Abstract

lhis study aimed to learn the reproduction perjonn of Jawarandu goat for the increase in the population cover the aspect of Conception Rate (CR), Service per Conception (S/C), as well as problems that open in the maintenance from 50 Jawarandu goat that consists of 41 heads in natuml breeding and 9 heads in Artrficial Insemination. Method in this study used of descriptive method, and primary data collection through interview with several st& in PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa and secondary data obtained from the available data in PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa, some literature, and the internet. The observation showed that the level success of the reproduction or Conception Rate (CRJ of natural breeding is higher than Artrficial Insemination that is of 82,93% in natural breeding and 66,67% in Artrficial Insentination. The Service per Conception (S'C) of natural breeding is 1,2 and the Artificial Insemination is 1,5. The data showed that S/C of ArhJicial Insemination is higher than natural breeding. The problems that o$en in the maintenance of the Jawarandu goat that is premature, born small, the young goat can't survive because the condition the body too weak, and the fracture.
