Keragaman genetik dengan penanda RAPD, fenotipa pertumbuhan dan pendugan heritabilitas pada sengon

Abstract

Paraserianthes falcataria (L) Nielsen, is one of the recomended tree species for industrial forest plantation and has long been cultivated by community in Java. Improvement program for this species requires basic genetic information such as genetic diversity, growth performance and heritability of some economically important characters. The objectives of this research is to estimate genetic diversity of several sengon populations in JAva using RAPD as marker, to establish progeny trials of sengon from those populations in order to observe their growth performance and estimate the heritability of tree height and diameter
