Abstract

The increasing demand of fresh cocoon as a raw material of silk manufacture, necessitate a better cocoon quality and quantity by the use of good cocooning device. The cocooning device is one of factors that determine cocoon quality. Seriframe as a conventional cocooning device is expensive. Therefore it is necessary to find other alternative cocooning device that economically and technically competitive to the conventional one.
