Pengaruh taraf penggunaan bungkil biji jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas L.) dalam ransum terhadap penampilan reproduksi mencit (Mus musculus)

Abstract

This experiment was conducted to study the effect of Jatropha curcas L. seed cake at different levels (0, 5, 10 and 15%) in the diet of mice (Mus musculus) on its reproductive performance. The variables observed were feed consumption, litter size a birth and weaning, birth and weaning weight, mortality rate. The result showed that Jatropha curcas L. seed cake levels in ration had no significant effects on feed consmuption. litter size at birth, birth and weaning weight, but produced significant effect (P<0.05) on litter size at weaning and highly significant effects (P<0.01) on mortality rate.
