Abstract

Madagascar cokroach (Gromphadorhina partentosa) is one of the bigggest type in the world and it's almost like a small mouse. Madagascar cockroach type in the world and it's size almost like a small mouse. Madagascar cockroach originally from Madagascar Island and known as "hiding roach" or "giant madagascar hissing cockroach". This cockroach is not yet raised in Indonesia, where as the environment is not so different than in Madagascar. To cultivate Madagascar cockroach in Indonesia, it is necessary to find out characteristic, especially production performance (consumption, body weight an body weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality) in Indonesian environment.
