Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup di SMA Insan Kamil Bogor
Abstract
The aim of this research study is evaluate the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) methods on the level of knowledge and attitude of high school student in order to integrate environmenntal education formally as well as consideration for future environmental education practices. Research conducted through experiments involving two groups of students, one act as experiment group and the other as control. The object of research is grade 12th high school students of Insan Kamil High School, Bogor. There are 80 students, divided into two groups . First is the acceleration group as experimental group and the second is regular group as control group. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). Research findings are as follows: 1) There is a significant difference of the post test results between acceleration and regular groups; 2) There is an insignificant difference between attitude scores of acceleraion and regular groups; 3) There is no correlation between the students level of knowledge and the students attitude to environment. The conclusions comfirm that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is able to increase students' knowledge, however an the other hand, CTL is not able to show significant contributions in enhancing students' attitude toward environment.
