      Abstract
      Kecamatan Pamulang is one of sub district existing in Kabupaten Tangerang. It has a huge sum of population as a residence with the consumption rate of meat base protein a number of 2.46 kg/ capitall year (Animal Husbandry Official of Kabupaten Tangerang, 2005). Kecamatan Pamulang has several supermarkets and traditional markets which supplies the broiler meat for the society needs. The objective of this study was to learn the factor influencing the total of demand and the large of broiler meat elasticity by the household consumer in Kecamatan Pamulang. This study is done on March to April 2006. The samples were taken by the multistage purposive sampling. It took a number of 60's family as sample. The design of study was a survey method. The data were analysed that used is the descriptive statistic, multiple linier regression and response analyses (elasticity). The result of study explaining that from the seventh variables were only four variables which real influential to the broiler meat demands by the household consumer, that is the broiler meat price, the beef price, the sum of family member and the favor level of dummy. Those fourth variables were real influential at real level a = 0.01. According to the demands elasticity conjecture result explain that the price elasticity (-2.164) and cross elasticity (10.241) has elastic characteristic.
