      Abstract
One of the methods in using fertilizer is the use of fertilizer on the leave, commonly known as a foliar fertilization. Absorption of nutrient elements which is sprayed on the leave is conducted by stomata and cuticle. Foliar fertilization leave is relatively more efficient compared with fertilizing through roots. The nutrient absorption on leaf is faster than those at the roots. So crop growth is better and may reduced soil degradation. The objective of this research was to study the effectiveness of foliar fertilizer of Growmore 6-10-40 on the growth, production and nutrient content of corn plant (Zea Mays L. ) in Latosol Dannaga and economic feasibility. The design of the research was randomized completely block design (RCBD) with one factor and three replication. The factor consists of 10 treatments i.e. 1) control (without fertilizer); 2) SI (200 Kg Urea, 100 Kg SP~36, and 37,5 Kg KCl per hectare) Gl; (3,5 Kg Growmore per hectare); 3) SlG2 (7 Kg Growmore per hectare); 4) SlG3 (10 Kg Growmore per hectare); 5) S1G4 (14 Kg Growmore per hectare); 6) S2 (250 Kg Urea, 150 Kg SP-36, 75 Kg KCI per hectare) Gl; 7) S2G2; 8) S2G3; 9) S2G4; and 10) Standard! Standard Fertilizer's dosage (300 Kg Urea, 200 Kg SP-36, 150 Kg KCI per hectare) The result of this research indicated that generally application of foliar fertilizer of Growmore 6-10-40 significantly increase variables of the nitrogen content of corn leaf, diameter and length of corn, weight of 100 seeds of corn, weight of fresh grain and seed of corn The Highest RAE grade occurred at standard treatment (100 %) while on Growmore 6-10-40 treatment, the highest RAE occurred at S2G4 treatment (97,6%), followed by S1G3 (93,8%), SlG4 (92,68%), S2G2 (82,25%), S2Gl (81,12%), S2G3 (70,14%), S1G1 (67,04%) and SlG2 (66,20%). Based on the economically feasibility using Revenue/Cost Ratio, all of treatments were able to be recommended, except treatment of control. The highest RIC ratio was belonging to S1G3 treatment (1,63). Thereafter, based on the computation of optimwn rate, the optimum rate of Growmore 6-10-40 was 1,95 gil and its equal 6,26 Kg per hectare.
