      Abstract
Poverty is one of the problems in Indonesia. To overcome poverty, Indonesian government creates many programs, such as Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), Program Pemberdayaan Peran Keluarga, Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE), etc. But any support from the government wouldn’t give good impact to family’s living if it isn’t well-managed. The research was conducted to analyze the comparation rate of family resource management and family wellbeing in poor family and prosperous family in Laladon Village, Bogor. The society in this village has various social demography characteristic. Family resource management is important to increase the well-being of the poor family or to increase value and productivity for the prosperous family. The results show that there was a difference between poor family characteristics and prosperous family. Based on types of problem that had been around, poor family claimed that housing aspect was the major problem whereas prosperous family claimed that self developing aspect was major problem. Prosperous family’s life goal was fulfilled by the spiritual necessity whereas poor family’s life goal was fulfilled by housing necessity. Human resource management of prosperous family was better than poor family, whereas time management and financial management in two groups were distinct. Physical well-being of prosperous family was better than poor family, whereas social well-being and psychological well-being in two groups were’nt distinct. Family resource management was related to physical well-being. So that, the government was expected to include family resource management as substance in family effort and resistance program.
